What is Bhaktamar Stotra?

Bhaktamar Stotra is a revered Jain hymn consisting of 48 verses dedicated to the first Tirthankara, Lord Adinath. The word "Bhaktamar" is derived from "Bhakta" (devotee) and "Amar" (immortal), symbolizing the eternal devotion of the devotee towards the divine.

Origins of Bhaktamar Stotra

Legend has it that Acharya Manatunga was imprisoned by a king, and he composed the Bhaktamar Stotra to break free from his chains.
